During my short visit to picturesque country I managed to see a to in a short time. Starting in Bucharest and visiting Palace of Parliament the world’s second largest building, to the architectural Old Town and Revolution Square. From Bucharest taking a train to Brasov in Transylvania and exploring the beautiful area including many iconic castles in and around the Carpathian Mountains and beautiful countryside.
Targoviste was a must to visit by car as I clearly remember the assassination of Nikolai and Elena Ceausescu on 25th December 1989 which was televised in many countries.
