During my professional career I have managed to visit China a number of times including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. I was lucky to visit The Great Wall of China just 3 hours to the north of the city in Mutianyu during April in the cherry blossom season. I was fortunate to see these amazing colours and enjoy capturing these select photos before the weather turned to hazy summer heat. Truly remarkable construction built during the Ming Dynasty around 221 BC and took around 20 years to complete, and stretches for approximately 21,100 kilometres.
Some sections are extremely steep and can be challenging to climb however an amazing experience to be there and marvel at its uniqueness and surrounding beauty which stretches as far as the eyes can see.
