Japan is a country filled with enriching and majestic culture, beauty with exceptionally fresh and exquisite cuisine. Professional work trips have determined my itinerary in Japan unfortunately however I have managed to push myself to get out and explore areas around Narita and Osaka.
Narita is a place with many temples surrounded by nature and also in spring time blooming cherry blossoms which make for great captures. Trying local Japanese cuisine is always a great pleasure and I thoroughly enjoy the uniqueness of the preparation of Sushi to a nice hot bowl of Ramen to warm me through on a cold day.
Osaka city I walked around a little however I wanted to take the train about 90 mins to Nara Park to experience the beautiful and character of the sacred Japanese Sika Deer, along with the world’s largest bronze Buddha Vairocana. “Daibutsu” Sits in the Great Buddha Hall of Todaiji Temple (first opened in 752 CE). What a truly humbling place to be with a very respectful and peaceful ora portrayed throughout Nara Park.
”I would like to thank my close friend Masashi Maruyama for his warm welcome, generosity and time to show me many places, explaining Japanese traditions and of course treating me to the true taste of Japanese cuisine…. Domo arigato Masashi San”
